Plot Summary:

Veer-Zaara is an epic romantic drama that tells the story of Veer Pratap Singh, an Indian Air Force officer, and Zaara Hayaat Khan, a Pakistani heiress. They meet by chance when Zaara visits India to fulfill her late grandmother’s wish. After saving her from an accident, Veer helps her complete her mission, and they fall deeply in love.

However, societal and political tensions between India and Pakistan keep them apart. Veer is wrongfully imprisoned in Pakistan, while Zaara is forced into an arranged marriage. The story is narrated years later by an aging Veer to Saamiya Siddiqui, a Pakistani lawyer who takes up his case to prove his innocence and reunite the lovers.
